Drilled a couple of holes in the subpanel for the headset jacks. I found an insulated headphone jack which required no additional work to install. The shell of the mic jack is not insulated so I had to use shouldered insulating washers for that jack.
Did some experimenting feeding a satellite radio output into the Microair 760 headphone circuit. I initially had some 1K load resistors on the L/R channels before joining them into the mono input of the Microair. That semed to be too much attenuation, so I removed the resistors. The signal was still relatively low but worked well with the radio, becoming muted when the radio was receiving a broadcast.
Began working on the wiring schematic for the Ray Allen G205 stick grip I'll be using. The grip has 5 buttons. I'll be wiring them for the radio push-to-talk, radio remote memory control, autopilot toggle on/off, altitude hold on/off, and a spare.
